I’ve spent most of my working life in roles that sit at the centre of a business, where numbers, systems, people, and day-to-day decisions all come together.
I began my career in accounting and payroll, and over time my work naturally expanded into office management, HR, recruitment, and operations. In practice, this meant becoming the person who understood how the business actually worked behind the scenes.
Working across industries including hospitality, construction, trades, and professional services has shown me that most businesses don’t struggle because of a lack of effort or commitment.
As a long-time Queenstown local now based in Arrowtown, I also understand the realities of operating a business in this region. Seasonal pressure, rapid growth, and staffing challenges can all add complexity.
